The Planning & Logistics for the Nordics Region is accountable for the efficient management of the integrated business planning (IBP) including customer demand signal to our factories, and the distribution of finished pack stock to retail and food service customers across the region.

With a multi-disciplined team located across the Sweden, Norway and Finland the successful candidate will be required to provide Supply Chain expertise both directly and through the team to meet Central IBP KPIs, and create a best in class Regional model.

This role needs to ensure the most efficient and effective Forecasting, Logistics, Order fulfilment and finished pack warehousing and stock management solutions are implemented.

The scope of the role will require both management and development of a high performing team who are able to deliver the requirements of a growing organisation.

The role requires strong collaboration across the Central Planning & Logistics, manufacturing colleagues, third-party Planning & Logistic partners, and across all functions within the Nordics regional office.

The role will report to the Supply Chain Director for Northern Europe, this role is a key member of the Nordics Leadership Team working closely with Business Partners across the region.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Direct all supply and logistics policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the Regional Planning & Logistic. Including:

- Lead the implementation of the end to end Regional Planning & Logistic strategy aligned to the Nomad operating model, which provides the most efficient and cost effective solution aligned to the growth ambitions of the business.

- Accountability of for all finished pack warehousing and stock movements

- Accountable for the logistics & transport and distribution including management and negotiation of 3rd party contracts to meet KPIs

- Lead, develop and inspire a team to deliver high performance, embracing core Nomad values

Qualifications & Previous Experience

- Extensive experience in Sales & Operations Planning within a similar organisation

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Planning & Logistics leadership role and experience of leading a multi-site, multi-function teams

- Evidence of developing and implementing strategy

- Flexibility to travel

Knowledge & Skills

- Experience of developing teams through succession planning and empowering and developing people

- Commercially astute, ambitious business leader with strong influencing and negotiation skills

- Experience manging successful 3PL partnerships to support and deliver business growth

We are looking for a senior and well-established person, that are about to make balanced and cost conscious decisions. A person that like and are good at deliver results in a matrix organisation. A person that take accountability and that are pregmatic and of course prioritize the leadership that manages a multi-site operation of about 20 people.

About the position & application

Permanent position, with initial 6 months trial period

Our office is based on Anna Lindhs plats. We are currently having a 60/40 approach to office/work from home but if you want to be at the office everyday we won't stop you.
