The Market Development Onshore department is responsible for the development of onshore wind projects, including finding new sites, handling permitting process and preparations for investment decisions. The Portfolio and Transactions department is an international team that together with the country-specific departments, enables pipeline growth via acquisitions, partnering, cooperation agreements and preparations for investment decision. The unit has the overall responsibility to ensure the development of portfolio, boost the pipeline with acquisitions/partnerships, support countries departments on commercial topics, and also lead strategic initiatives.

As Head of Portfolio and Transactions you will have the following key responsibilities
• Together with country departments (for core markets) develop market strategies including partnering and acquisition, and general business development initiatives
• Lead transactions (together with Group M&A) from idea stage to final closing
• Lead / orchestrate entry into new markets
• Steer & coordinate the pipeline across markets to enable a portfolio approach
• Coordinate the Public and Regulatory Affairs interface and messaging towards stakeholders
• Lead work to secure project PPA:s in markets where applicable
• Lead an international team based in four locations

Your qualifications as Head of Portfolio and Transactions
• You have a relevant university degree (or equal)
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience as a leader in an international organisation, preferably within a wind environment and with M&A experience
• Proven skilled in dealing with strategic, highly complex issues, problems and challenges
• Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written
• You are a highly motivated and communicative leader able to focus on both people and business, as well as managing teams in change and challenging environments
• An ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive them towards results
• Strong credibility built through both business insight and leadership


Location: Flexible, however there is a preference for Stockholm (Solna). Regular business trips are required.
