Our Exciting Opportunity
The Strategy and Portfolio unit is setup to support acceleration of growth in BTEB and in Ericsson. It has four areas of tasks (i) Strategy: develop strategies for Enterprise businesses and drive strategic projects; (ii) Portfolio: manage BTEB’s portfolio including identifying and executing M&A transactions in support of BTEB’s in-organic growth strategy, and manage capital resource allocation; (iii), and optimize the drive of Ericsson owned portfolio companies in the other segment (iv).
We are now looking for our Head of Portfolio Development who will be responsible for optimizing the long-term strategy and value creation of the companies in our other segments such as iconectiv and one or two more, performing financial analysis, managing strategic projects, as well as managing strategic investments (M&A) and driving new business development and change initiatives!
You will
You will lead the work to increase the value of Ericsson investments, motivating change through strategic, financial and M&A initiatives together with the board of said companies and Ericsson stakeholders
preparing and reporting on the analysis of investments and investment strategies, prepare work for the BTEB LT, and drive work toward other Ericsson Executive Team members and board members of portfolio companies
be supported, and work with, a small team -which you'll be tasked to build.
Collaborate with Strategy, M&A functions and Finance across Ericsson and the portfolio companies
To be successful in the role you must have
Deep understanding of our business and go-to-market, business models & portfolio and ability to engage and drive discussion with top executives and stakeholders internally and externally
Deep knowledge and experience of working with Ericsson portfolio companies in other segments
Self-motivated, inventive and result oriented. Excellent social and interpersonal skills
Experience in leading a highly skilled and diverse team, acting as a standout colleague that builds trust and lasting relationships with external and internal partners
Flexibility & proven abilities to work in a complex multi-cultural and multi-national environment across multiple time zones
Master’s degree or PhD in relevant fields (MBA, MSc or similar)
