We are part of the SL UDM, Policy & Exposure defining the SL portfolio strategy across multiple offering streams and shaping end to end product management including marketing communication and services readiness.
The unit is accountable to define business plan, budget plan and profitability plan for the SL including formal business decision and product decisions governance.
Our unit is primarily focusing on the market strategy influencing the market uptake and new technologies' adoption.
We are in this unit as well driving the new innovation being primarily partner in the D15 lab in the Silicon Valley along with and interacting with 3 offering areas of the solution line with focused product management on domain level.
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to be accountable for developing a go-to-market vision, positioning, and subsequent product and solution marketing plans as well as the messaging for specific products/solutions/industries. Marketing specialists serve as the evangelists to internal and external audiences and the content created is the critical foundation to all activation activities (analog and digital).
The purpose is to design and communicate towards the market the most compelling customer value proposition for the UDM, Policy and Exposure portfolio offerings, securing a continuous value development in the portfolio and a proper readiness in the Market Areas on selling the value to the customers.

Develop competence and knowledge sharing in your group and beyond
Define and update the portfolio marketing strategy and delivery plan per Offering Area, based on the continuous feedback from customers, analysts and competitors, in order to maximize the value perceived in the market.
Drive Value Proposition design and communication for new and established products, offering areas and solution areas at portfolio level (IoT, 5G, Cloud, etc.).
Orchestrate product marketing activities across different organizations and Market Areas, securing the right messages and airtime in the key internal and external events.
Secure alignment with Sales Support for proper activation of sales channels: sales priorities, competence readiness in the market, understanding of market trends and Ericsson position, Business Intelligence processes including Market Share.
Test value proposition in the market for continuous improvement of key marketing messages, demonstrating on direct customer engagements (Ericsson studio, customer lead programs)
Demonstrate on close collaboration with the offering areas SPMs to bring harmonized key market messages.
To be successful in the role you must have
Education: Telecom Engineer and/or Marketing course work preferably Master’s degree
Min years of experience: 10 years
Domain experience: Telecom Core network and UDM, Policy & exposure is a PLUS
You will need to have excellent presentation and communication skills
Analytical skills
Crafting and innovating
Formulating strategies and concepts
Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
Understanding of digital marketing
