As Head of Pre-Sales Support, you will play a key role in the sale of complex capital market platforms to a variety of both new and existing customers, and will be part of discovering new opportunities across the Capital Markets industry.


About the role


You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of strategic initiatives across the Nasdaq Marketplace Technology portfolio of Software Products and Software Services for Market Infrastructure Operat ors. The Marketplace Technology portfolio spans the complete securities transaction processing chain from trading , clearing , risk management and settlement . You will be working directly with senior contacts across our target marke t Furthermore you will provide leadership and overall direction through the development of a long-term vision and strategy for the pre-sales arena. You will identify expansion and s trategic opportunities and will ensur e these are adapt ed to the business ’s lo ng term growth vision . A s a successful Head of Pre-Sales Support you will develop new go to market ideas and s trategic growth opportunities. The work will have a direct impact on financial success and performance of Nasdaq.


What you will be doing


Provide leadership and direction to and through direct reporting to s enior managers.
Establish strategy and policies that result in a positive bottom line for the organization and business.
Promote high performance through driving accountability, enhancing quality and designing processes and metrics.
Build strong partnerships with key individuals, leaders, and stakeholders in other organizations, both domestically and globally.
Implement new business initiatives, products, programs, processes, etc. (e.g., process simplification and automation) that are aligned with the organizational strategy.
Champion the use of the most up-to-date technology trends and competitive landscape expertise to drive opportunities and competitive advantage for our clients.


We expect you to have


Specialized degree within Computer Science or similar and MBA.
At least 15 years within the Capital Markets technology space.
At least 5 years managerial experience.
Specialized in commercial or business acumen, financial and strategic thinking.
