The Trucks department (KT) is a business area within Sales and Marketing. Our mission is to create a portfolio enabling growth and transformation, maximizing our current and future profitability. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our newly established Price Management team that will be operational from 1st September 2024. This pivotal role is central to our strategy of developing robust price management capabilities, ensuring seamless daily operations and most importantly designing the future of pricing!

Your Assignment
As Head of Price Management, you will steer the Price Management team, enhance our pricing abilities and integrate price management as a strategic capability within Sales & Marketing. This cuts across our entire business, all the way from research and development projects to end customer prices. Your short-term goal will be to staff the team and define its short- and long-term objectives and key implementation areas to reach our common objectives.

You will lead the team in the daily operations with areas such as updating our price system (ETEL BO) and the pricing process including the decision meeting Price Council. You will drive continuous improvement in the pricing process, and foster collaboration with stakeholders both within Sales & Marketing and across our business units. You will drive work within Trucks to pave the way for a step change in pricing.

Key Responsibilities
· Lead the Price Management team in daily operations, maintaining the price list structure for trucks and the Price Council including reference groups from our markets.
· Develop and implement strategies for short- and long-term price management to enable better decision making and more effective pricing flows.
· Educate and guide the organization in price management theory and practices.
· Improve and strengthen Scania’s price management processes through active collaboration.
· Work with strategic assignments connected to pricing and drive data driven pricing as the pricing core
· Explore and use AI as a core enabler for strategic price management
· Explore potential setup and pricing structure for solutions sales strategies
· Drive the design, decision and implementation of a cross functional step change in pricing.


Your Profile
We are seeking a dynamic individual with a university degree in business administration, engineering or a related field. You will be successful either through a good understanding of Scania’s offerings and expertise in our pricing methods, processes, and tools or through deep experience from pricing from another multi-national B2B company. You are pedagogical, humble and practice good communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both senior management and operational teams. You see the importance of data and analysis within the field of pricing and understand what benefits AI can have in the area.

As a leader, you are visionary and results-oriented, eager to advance price management within Scania. Change management will be crucial for success in the role and collaboration a cornerstone. You excel in managing both operational tasks and long-term development projects.
