Alfa Laval is looking for Head of Process Sales in Business unit Energy Separation

About BU Energy Separation (BU ENS)
BU ENS is one of the five business units located in our Energy Division. BU ENS focuses on process industries and heavy and light industries, by providing separation equipment, such as high-speed separators, decanters, and thermal separation solutions to customers globally. Our mission is to enable our customers to optimize their processes and products, while reducing their environmental impact and resource consumption. We are well positioned with our portfolio to take substantial market shares within water circularity, recycling and renewable fuels, chemicals and plastics enabling a circular and de-fossilised future.
As the Head of Process Sales in BU Energy Separation (BU ENS), you will be responsible for:

Driving the transformation and scaling of our Process business.

Leading and motivating a team of 30 commercial and technical experts organised in three technology legs, including a team of 5 business developers (at 3 main locations in Sweden and Denmark).

Accountable for scaling sales through our global sales company organisation and securing profitability while developing and executing the strategy to grow our business in five new areas: renewable chemicals, plastics and fuels, recycling, zero liquid discharge/water reuse, mining, and green hydrogen.
Operating in a matrix structure, our Business Unit thrives on clarity and strong leadership, both directly and indirectly. You need to have a natural talent to bring clarity and prioritize tasks to deliver business value. That includes continuous work to optimize the integrated operational model of the business unit across departments, ensuring clarity and excellent collaboration across business development, sales, engineering, and service. Our motto, "Unite to grow," guides our agile approach, ensuring we scale effectively and adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you will report directly to the President of the Business Unit and be part of the Business Unit Management Team. As a senior leader and valued member of the Business Unit Management Team, your contributions in sales and your efforts to drive our joint business goals in collaboration with the team will be pivotal for BUs future success.
Primary location for is Tumba (Stockholm, Sweden). We will be moving to new and modern premises in Flemingsberg during 2025.
Who you are

You bring a wealth of experience in fostering constructive collaborations and contributing effectively within a management team. Your robust technical acumen allows you to grasp new processes and applications, integrating our technical solutions into a scalable business framework.
What you know
You have a master's degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration, or a related field. You have 10+ years of commercial experience in relevant industry segments, such as process industries, heavy industry, recycling, and the materials industry. We trust you have a proven track record in driving business transformation and managing P&L. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are crucial for this role.
Experience within separation, process engineering, renewable and recycled feedstocks, or water circularity is an advantage.
