The role

As Head of Procurement, you will lead a team of thirty professionals and a team of three direct reporting managers across the organization in Sweden collaborating with the international team to secure a professional, efficient and impactful procurement function. You will be part of the Management Team of Caverion Division Sweden and report to the Head of Division Sweden. The location of this position is at Lindhagensgatan in Stockholm.  

Main tasks:

Deliver procurement results in close collaboration with units.
Drive transformation and improve buying culture in the Division.
Drive the transformation from old to new – ensuring that everybody understand the need to change and have needed capacity to make the change.
Speeding up the digitalisation of processes and activities as well as master data management.
Ensure a professional, motivated, and engaged organization.
Develop the processes and alignment with other functions.

Experience and competence

The person we are looking for must have a master level academic degree or equivalent education and a minimum of five years of experience from a leading role within procurement, implementing procurement practices, in an international environment. You should have experience from companies with advanced procurement processes and a track record of being able to utilize this knowledge to develop procurement culture further. Furthermore, proficiency in procurement of Indirect material and services especially IT systems for complex IT infrastructures is essential. You also have experience from successfully driving change in matrix organizations.

We expect you to be a skilled negotiator with excellent procurement knowledge and contract management skills combined with sound business development know-how. You are a Supply Chain specialist who masters the entire chain from operational purchasing to category management as well as Supply Chain sustainability development.

Fluency in English and Swedish languages, in writing and speech, is a must. Industry experience is an advantage but not a mandatory requirement. The position requires willingness to travel and understanding of IT and purchasing systems.

Your personal characteristics are important to us. You are driven and resourceful with good business understanding able to build effective teams and drive results. You have good planning capabilities and excellent communication skills. Furthermore, we value high learning agility and ability to learn from experience.
