Head of Procurement BU Gripen

As Head of Procurement, you will be part of leading the Procurement function within BU Gripen. The department will work both operationally but also be responsible for strategic sourcing concerning JAS 39 Gripen. You will lead an organization of ~100 employees, together with four direct reports in your management team. The role also includes being part of the overall responsibility for procurement, which is to lead, support and develop the business units work related to sourcing and supply.

Governance in accordance with Saab established requirements

Responsible for BU suppliers and information/agreement coordination with other Aeronautics BUs
*

Represents BU requirements and needs towards BA Purchasing
*

Contributes with resources and competence in the coordination work of BA joint suppliers (incl. audits)
*

Coordination of operational purchasing (supply) in consultation with Fighter Production
*

Ensures the necessary resources and competence for the business unit's needs both strategically and operationally
*

Responsibility for inventory incl. inventory value, obsolescence, LTB, depreciation etc.
*

Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements within own aviation permits
*

Contributes to the development of the purchasing process within the framework of PM&T and business development

BU Gripen, with ~2,500 employees, is a newly formed business unit with overall responsibility for JAS 39 Gripen C/D/E/F. You will be part of the BU Gripen management team and report to the Head of the Business Unit.

The position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
