Job Description
Afound is a marketplace for deals while offering new ways to shop more sustainably. With the mission to give fashion new life, we make it easy to discover existing collections from past and present seasons, always at a reduced price. The digital marketplace (afound.com) was launched in June 2018. Today, Afound operates in seven markets offering great deals to hundreds of thousands of customers. Afound is an independent brand within the H&M Group.
We are looking for
As Head of Product at Afound, you will be part of a fast-moving start-up within the H&M Group that is expanding rapidly into new markets. We seek entrepreneurs, self-starters, and people who like to make things happen. You are a strong leader and team player who is open-minded and solution oriented.
Overall role
Your overall responsibility is to lead the Afound product team in the continuous development of Afound.com into a world class digital marketplace experience while always securing stable operations. This you do together with your team by applying modern agile product management praxis’s and making sure we have a clear vision and product roadmap for Afound.com contributing to reach set targets and continuously improving the customer experience on Afound.com.
To succeed in this role, you probably have multiple years of experience working with tech and product management within the field of e-commerce or other digital business to consumer services.
Your Responsibilities
· Together with your Tech Lead you will lead and develop a distributed team of software engineers and UX-designers (both full-time employed and consultants)
· Set and own the product vision and product roadmap for afound.com
· Together with your team prioritize the backlog and conduct sprint planning with the aim to maximize value creation and reach set targets
· Secure scalable and efficient solutions to support additional expansion into new markets
· Work in close collaboration with other teams at Afound to continuously improve and personalize the customer experience based on data and customer insights
Qualifications
Your skills and experiences
· Degree in Engineering, IT, Product Management or similar
· Previous leadership experience
· A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with product management in the e-commerce or business to consumer services industry
· Previous experiences and a strong advocate for modern agile development praxis´s
· Common understanding of e-commerce/marketplace architecture and data flows
· Strong product management skills and the ability to turn insights into a clear vision and roadmap for your product (afound.com)
· Result-oriented personality, with a genuine interest in building great digital customer experiences and staying updated on the latest digital customer experience trends
· An entrepreneurial mindset, taking own initiatives, as we are a flat organization with a straightforward, open-minded culture and short decision paths.
· Strong communication skills in English, verbal and written.
· Like working in a fast-paced environment and embracing change.
· Previous experience in setting up Marketing Automation flows for e-mail is a plus
