Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania Engines is a Scania product area, with responsibility to develop and market Engines for a broad range of industrial and marine applications. The business is managed as a “Company within the company”, based on synergies, with a clear profitability target above the general Scania target.

At Technical Development, within Scania Engines, we are responsible for the development of the complete engines, including base engine, cooling systems, electrical systems and after treatment throughout the complete project and product lifecycle. The development is mainly done by own staff, but also with outsourced resources in, and support from, the general Scania R&D organisation.

As our current Head of Product Engineering is taking up a new position within Scania we are looking for a successor.

As Head of Product Engineering you are also Product Manager and will act cross functionally with Aftermarket, Sales, Design & Testing as the main stakeholders in specific assignments, but also in the network of R&D Product Managers in process and flow related issues. Product Engineering is managed in four teams for different assignment types and consists of 11 Designers and Assignment managers. You will be a part of the management team and report to the Director of Technical Development, Scania Engines.
