About this opportunity
We are looking for an experienced technology savvy leader for our newly established Product Management!
The Software Production System (SPS) organization (former Development System & Environment, DSE) has recently restructured to optimize operations and prepare for future growth. As part of this, we have formed 5 new Product Development Groups, a System Management unit and a Product Management unit. The objective of the Product Management unit is lead the evolution of SPS's solutions, in accordance to BCSS business and technical strategies. The unit is located in Kista.
You have a deep understanding of R&D and how Product Development works, and what is required to be successful. You have solid knowledge and experiences of the cloud development/operations domain and good knowledge of the overall Ericsson product portfolio. You also need to have an already well established contact network within R&D, Group Functions, and other major stakeholders.

What you will do
Establish and communicate the SPS product portfolio long-term vision, strategy and roadmaps to the PDG’s.
Ensure continuous dialogues take place with the PDU’s as well as SA’s product management.
Manage Financial Planning for SPS and distribute budget to the PDG's
Enable a good collaboration with SPS System Management, SPS PDGs, SPS Operations, key partners, PDUs/users, Engineering Services, IT and other Ericsson partners.
Secure that development results match wanted outcome.
You will bring
Deep understanding of the R&D flow including continuous design, integration, deployment and operations, of cloud native SW development as well as of Lean and Agile methodology.
Knowledgable of digitization of data, digitalization and automation of workflows.
Knowledgable of R&D development environments, R&D clouds and R&D tools.
Excellent people/leadership and mentoring skills in line with Ericsson core values.
A broad experience of the BDGS/Ericsson product portfolio with a solid understanding of how PDU’s function and need in order to be successful.
Ability to lead organizations into new ways of working and have a track record of setting and delivering to high standards.
Sharp analytical skills with an ability to formulate and deliver on strategies.
Experiences of customer near work such as engagements, service deliveries, sales or similar.
Key qualifications
MSc level in a technical field relevant to SW development, or the equivalent level of knowledge
10+ years’ experience of leadership within R&D
Solid knowledge of product management / product ownership
Business understanding and customer insight
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, speak & write English fluently.
