Head of Product Management and Tech Support

We are looking for our first head of product management and tech support to join us and help shape our future product portfolio to improve the lives of customers and patients.
As the Head of product management and tech support you will be responsible for product life cycle management, product marketing initiatives and leading customer experience activities to guide new product development. In this role, you will interface with multiple functions to contribute to building the product roadmap and execute on global product commercialization programs.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute launch plans including market segmentation, value proposition, commercialization strategy, pricing, regulatory strategy, reimbursement approach, competitive analysis, and forecasting
- Developing the strategy for the product portfolio based on market opportunity, customer needs, competitive landscape, and business potential
- Define pricing strategy, product messaging, positioning, and configuration to optimize performance while balancing business goals for current and future products based on market research and customer feedback.
- Manage and coordinate a team of product managers and tech support/field application specialists
- Regularly review, analyze and report trends in support issues
- Collaborate with customers and key opinion leaders to generate proof of concept data and penetrate key application areas.
- Actively participate in building our customer experience program including customer interviews and net promoter system (NPS)
- Collaborate with marketing to create customer-focused product marketing content such as website copy, blog and social media posts, case studies, whitepapers, videos, newsletters and sales documentation
- Partner with other departments including marketing, R&D manufacturing, finance and sales to achieve business objectives.
- Data driven approach to product life cycle management
Experience
- Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in product management within diagnostics
- Knowledge of the routine diagnostic market
- At least Bachelor's degree in biological sciences (genetics, molecular biology or similar.)
- Knowledge of molecular diagnostics testing domain
- Experience in product life-cycle management
- Familiar with the Pragmatic framework concept
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills

- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of IVD and LDT products
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Proficiency in languages such as Swedish, German, French, Italian or Spanish is a plus
- Excellent writing skills is a plus
