Head of Product - Pension & Insurance

Over the last decade, Benify has disrupted the HR tech market both in Sweden and internationally with our benefits and engagement SaaS platform. Thanks to our rapid growth,, we are now looking for a Head of Product to strengthen our pension and insurance (P&I) offering.

As Head of Product P&I, you will work at the intersection of where technology, business and end-users meet. You have a deep passion for developing habit-forming products combined with industry knowledge within pension and insurance with experience in building software products. You will lead the development of our P&I offering by forming a strategy, then anchoring and executing it. Benify’s P&I offering currently consists of Lifeplan (a state-of-the-art pension robo-advice service), pension exchange and group insurance. With you on board, we look to strengthen our position in our home market of Sweden and explore opportunities within P&I internationally.

As Head of Product P&I, you are commercially responsible for Benify’s P&I offering and will lead a team of talented indviduals requiring all aspects of leadership, including being a cultural role model, gaining and building trust, driving healthy friction, and having an owner’s mindset.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you:

• Have a Master’s degree in business or technology
• Have a minimum 5 years of experience within product development, preferably with a fintech company
• Have experience in the pension and insurance field (a prerequisite). Insuresec licensed is a merit
• Have previous experience ideally in a leadership position. More importantly, you display managerial abilities according to Benify’s core values: Show Love, Think Ahead, Exceed Expectations
• Are fluent in English and Swedish

As an individual, you have a strong commercial mindset and can identify opportunities that will strengthen our position and competitiveness within the pension and insurance area. You have a deep understanding of the pension and insurance market and love to challenge the status quo to meet and create future demands. You have a strong analytical skill set and the ability to solve problems in an environment with shared resources and collaboration. Of course, you are a strategic mastermind and have the ability to implement the overall company strategy.

You are performance-oriented and set high goals for both yourself and your team,working hard to achieve them. You are also a true team player and are not afraid of handing over ownership to your employees. You have an ambitious vision that you are able to communicate and steer your team towards in an inspiring and goal-oriented manner.
