We’re looking for a leader for one of the most complex parts of our business, our production. We are looking for an industry expert looking to scale one of the fastest growing startups in Stockholm- ever. Your job will be to ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality, state of the art production. Recruitment need
Carla is looking for an exceptional Head of Production to join our fast-growing operations team. In this role, you will report directly to our COO and work closely with our Site Managers to achieve our production goals in terms of volume, cost and lead times.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Carla's production flow and quality assurance of vehicles (i.e. inspection, reconditioning, battery testing, repairs, photography of cars)
- Continuous work on quality assurance, process optimization and service development
- Act as main partner to digital product teams supporting Production
- Ensure resources are in place in line with budgets and actual needs
- Measure and continuously develop the business based on key KPIs: quality, lead time, cost/profitability
- Recruit and develop key talent and ensure a culture aligned with Carla's values
- Drive new business development
- Set up service authorization projects
- Ensure that Carla has the right suppliers/partners, at the right price/quality for glass, tyres, spare parts, equipment etc.
- Define KPIs to measure the success of your product
- Lead decision processes on persist, iterate, or drop
Qualifications:
- Experienced in in fleet management or in the field of vehicle technology
- Technical background and previous experience from managing production and/or production engineering and development
- Experience from leading large teams and having senior direct reports (managers themselves)
- Excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen
- Skilled within Operations Management, Lean, Material- and Production Planning
- Proficient in data manipulation and Excel/Google Sheets
- General data presentation/”storytelling” abilities
- Strong ability to identify development areas and implement solutions to maximize business efficiency
- Adept at understanding complex problems and visualizing your findings to stakeholders
- A curious mindset, - you are someone who always questions routines/processes and proactively drives continuous improvement
Meritorious:
- Previous experience from a start-up or hyper-growth environment
- Previous experience from leading international projects and teams successfully
- Experience from management consulting or investment banking
- Experience from a similar role in the automotive or industrial sector
Characteristics:
- You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast paced environment with a hands on attitude and at heart with a data-driven mindset, sharing fresh ideas for how to apply best practice to improve efficiency by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
- This role includes close cooperation with several internal functions as well as external contacts and outstanding communication skills are required in both Swedish and English
- Curious mindset and loves to question the reasons behind existing processes in order to ensure continuous improvement

Educational background
- Minimum a BSc degree, within computer science, management, engineering, economics, finance or equivalent
