Head of Production Packaging and Distribution

We are looking for a driven individual, an achiever, setting and meeting ambitious goals whilst maintaining high quality and a positive working environment in our packaging and distribution center.

About the position
The Head of Production Packaging and Distribution is accountable for Wellspect’s final packaging, manual assembly, internal logistics and distribution. The production consists of robot cells, flowwrap machines and cartooning machines, as well as some manual assembly stations. The Distribution Center takes care of the handling of raw material, serves the factory with material as well as shipping to subsidiaries and to our final customers. The position is located in Mölndal.

In particular you will:
Ensure that quality and safety standards are fully met and that standard operating procedures are adhered to
Ensure that the commitment to delivery performance is met
Ensure and develop short and long term production capacity
Meet or exceed OPEX targets
Strengthen structures and processes and establish a culture of continuous improvement



Furthermore, the successful candidate should:
Ensure cross functional coordination and collaboration with other parts of Wellspect
Continue to install a performance culture to further gain operating efficiencies
Motivate and develop teams, based on continuous feedback, to achieve a superior performance
Actively contribute to deliver on Wellspect’s operations strategy
Contribute as a member of Wellspect manufacturing management team
Be a strong communicator


Preferred qualifications:
Master in Engineering or Supply Chain with strong analytical capabilities
3-5 years of experience in similar roles
Proven leadership skills in leading leaders
Demonstrated track record in achieving ambitious targets
Excellent in Swedish, both written and spoken is mandatory
