Head of Production Planning/Scheduling

We are looking for a highly qualified person to lead the Head of PP&S role.
As Head of PP&S, you are developing and managing an agile, market responsive and balanced supply chain for Nyby operations that supply the Value stream SWE and part of Value stream FIN-NED-GER and will report directly to the Vice President - Value Stream SWE. To be successful in this role you should have strong communication, technical and strategic thinking skills.
Main responsibilities
Managing and developing the safety performance of the entire PP&S workforce in line with SafeStart principles and group safety guidance
Accountability for efficient execution of on time in full supply of products to internal units and external customers against the set targets/KPIs, e.g. WIP, FG production and stocks, Shipments, SOTIF, in order to optimize sales and maintain strong operational agility whilst minimizing stockouts
Balancing the loading and ensuring that each downstream unit (DSU) can meet its schedule adherence targets consistently
Contribute to DDMRP buffer placement &configuration in Nyby hot end in alignment with both value streams DSUs and European S&P, and to define and regularly update planning parameters to manage inventory buffers
Focal point of contact for supply chain & operations topics for Nyby business counterparts
Actively contribute to long-, mid-and short-term capacity planning and inventory management in alignment with and contributing to BAE Sales &operations planning

Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent in applied science, mathematics, supply chain or similar discipline
A minimum of 5 years managerial and supply chain experience in the metals industry
Ability to lead &inspire people
Strong communication skills
Very good analytical and conceptual skills
Excellent understanding of Outokumpu's strategy and business mechanisms
Excellent understanding of business processes and SC principles and practices
