Role description


Even though we operate in a business-to-business environment it is the people who make the difference.
As Head of Program and Supply Capacity Management, your responsibility is to secure the needed capacity and flexibility over the GTP life cycle together with the Program and Supply Capacity Management Team. You will be the owner of the GTP capacity management process.
This role requires an interface with all required stakeholders (e.g. GTO, Brands) to anticipate these needs.
You represent GTP in relevant GTO forums, other stakeholder committees, and Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) meetings as well as being a member of GTP supply risk governance also participating in various foras.


Main responsibilities:
Prepare and consolidate the GTP S&OP response
Organize communication with suppliers when it comes to volume and capacity
Organize internal GTP communication concerning S&OP, Long Term Volume Forecast, capacity and flexibility
Animate the network of buyers and SPDE to secure required capacity and flexibility at suppliers
Develop and maintain a Dynamic planning, along with CAPSUS tool, supporting a fact based capacity risk dashboard and S&OP response
Mid term capacity plan connected with market trend evolution (Long term Forecast) and Project road map
Develop capacity management in project phase as part of securing readiness at start of production
Manage resources within respective areas, recruitment
Responsible for operating expenses
Manage team development
Continuously improve processes, procedures and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness

You will be a member of the Supply Network Resiliency and Project Management team and actively contribute to the development of the department. You will report to the Head of Supply Network Resiliency and Project Management.
Location will be flexible Gothenburg, Sweden or Lyon, France.


Main Qualifications & Experiences


You have an excellent ability to manage stakeholders and have strong networking skills. We also expect you to have a drive for results with the ability to set priorities and deal with ambiguity. For this role you need to have customer focus with a business acumen, acting with trust and integrity.
University degree in Engineering/technology and/or Business Administration
Strong accountability and project management for tasks without close supervision
Capacity management skills
Ability to thrive in agile and complex situations
A strong understanding of business challenges in a global environment and preferably a good understanding of the Volvo Group Business
Experience in Purchasing and/or Operations
Executive communication and teamwork skills
