Volvo Construction Equipment is organized in four Business Lines with business responsibility within each product line.The main facilities are located in Arvika (Sweden), Asheville (USA), Braås (Sweden), Eskilstuna (Sweden), Hallsberg (Sweden) and in Pederneiras (Brazil).4500 employees are involved in the business line globally.As Head of Projects you will own and manage the portfolio of product developments projects from pre-study to follow-up.You will be responsible for the Projects (P) function.You will report directly to the Vice President Research and Development. Responsibilities: Manage and drive the P process, i.e.drive and secure delivery of P projects according to project portfolio plan Establish and own Project portfolio/plan, and corresponding budget (Scope: pre-study to follow-up) Responsible for the coordination of the total Product Portfolio Development Consolidation and reporting of (P) Key Performance Index Consolidate resource and competency needs necessary for realization of project portfolio/plan Chair P steering committee and tactical status meetings, e.g."pulsmöten" Drive development of the P process (part of PPD process) including process related tools and methods Manage and develop competency of Chief Project Managers (CPM), and Technical Project Leaders Drive the department's Operational Development program in order to secure continuous improvements Requirements: Appropriate University degree or equivalent Experience from management position within R & D or Project organization Well proven leadership skills A proficient communicator and net worker Ability do drive co-worker commitment and motivation Be able to work and manage in a matrix organization Good adaptability, open to change Fluent in English, written and spoken
