Volvo Group’s global core plant for wheel loaders in Arvika is a versatile operation with over 1000 people who are manufacturing high tech machines that brings value to societies all over the world. Your role


As part of Fabrication flow cross functional management team, you are a key member to drive and develop quality for the fabrication. You will also coordinate VPS (Volvo production system) for the fabrication. You should contribute with your competence and expertise, and collaborate closely cross functionally in your network, putting people in the driver seat by building a culture that motivates people to be both self-driven and collaborate-driven.


You will be responsible for a group of 14 people focusing on improving quality. Developing the team working with weld quality evaluation and measuring equipment. With your teams competence and communication you will bring a strong quality voice and help the organization with feedback on the quality situation both for our plant as well as give input for product and process changes.


As we are the core plant for wheel loaders it also means to pay attention to other plants, ensuring wheel loader product quality developed at our core plant, also meets demands in hub plants.


Who are you?


A curious person with interest in understanding and explaining built in quality, who can bring different perspectives, are energized by collaboration and want to inspire others. You have leadership experience and the ability to build trusting relationships and feel comfortable with prioritizing. You communicate easily in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing. Experience from manufacturing process industry is meritorious.
