Volvo Group Recruitment is a group function within People Services with the mission to provide world class recruitment services and solutions to the Volvo group and contribute to the Groups talent acquisition and business success. We support the whole group with expertise, processes and tools in our area. In India, Poland and Sweden we have established a line-organization supporting all regions and time-zones.


Role Description
As part of the disruptive change in our industry related to electrification and digitalization the demand for our services and solutions have significantly increased during the last year. Currently our recruiters in Sweden are organized in two teams, and now one of our managers has decided to move on to a new position in the group.

We are now looking for a Head of Recruitment Commercial & Operation Sweden. In this position you are line manager with the responsibility to lead and develop your team members, furthermore you have the delivery responsibility for our recruitment services in Sweden towards a range of business functions like Production, Purchasing, Finance, Human Resource, Real Estate etc.


You manage the recruitment team consisting of both employees, external contractors and secure hired services in the area. You drive efficiency and implement agreed tools, processes and ways of working in the area of talent acquisition. Finally, you manage stakeholder expectations, building and sustaining long term business relationships.

In this position you will be part of the Volvo Group Recruitment global management team and you are expected to actively participate and contribute to strategic planning, resource utilization, process improvements and business development. You will work and interact in a global context and be a vital part of driving continues improvements in the area of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition.

The core Responsibilities of the Recruitment Manager are:
Drive the recruitment process delivery for the applicable Volvo Group entities in Sweden.
Act as a coach and support for your team and drive the development of your team members.
Drive efficiency and secure deliveries according to set targets.
Implement decided methods, tools and ways of working in your area.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external talent sources such as agencies.
Be part of developing long term strategies and short-term initiatives that aim to strengthen the Volvo Groups talent acquisition capabilities.

Required Competencies
We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track-record from management in recruitment, preferably in an international context.


You navigate with ease in a complex stakeholder structure and you feel comfortable in interacting with stakeholders at all levels in the company, from executive level to individual contributors.
You have experience from working with external vendors and have the ability to create a seamless service deliver model


Furthermore, you have excellent overall understanding of processes, business change and an ability and interest in identifying and driving continuous improvements
You build and maintain long-term business relationships and feel comfortable in networking in an international environment.


Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and/or Business administration, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
