HEAD OF REGIONAL DESIGN OFFICE VÄSTERAS

The Head of Regional Design Office (CTO) leads a competent team of Engineers responsible for ensuring Platform solutions from each Segment type are integrated into emerging market opportunities based upon the CTO Platform Solution?s output from Hub Design Centre sites.

YOUR TASKS

Ensure the maximum read-over for products based upon platforms and system solutions offered
Develop and maintain a team comprising Concept Engineering, Verification and Validation, Design Assurance, Requirements Management, Functional, Electrical & Mechanical Architects, Vehicle Performance and Design for Manufacturing
Ensure that the Platform Solutions chosen from the Design Centre Hub (CTO standard solutions) will be integrated into a product and bid offering for a defined opportunity with clearly identified benefits in terms of fixed, cost, mass, innovation, and energy efficiency
Translate the benefits of CTO solutions into specific Product solutions in the assigned region and ensure that the defined benefits are achieved

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering Degree, or Business/Engineering Combined
Minimum 10 years of experience in various projects in Engineering/Project Management
Working in a complex international environment
Sound experience in managing people and teams in Engineering and projects
In depth abilities in conceptual thinking and deriving of dedicated actions, also to other teams and functions
Knowledge of international standards and norms of Train Functions, as well as electrical, mechanical and control engineering
