Head of Regional Relations for Saab Linköping

We are now looking for a Head of Regional Relations for Saab in Linköping.

What you will be a part of

As Head of Regional Relations for Saab in Linköping you will be a part of Saab´s Business Area Aeronautics, who designs, develops and produces some of the worlds most advanced military aircraft systems and always strive to be in the forefront of technology. This is shown in our product portfolio with Gripen, the smart fighter, and the advanced trainer T-7 as the main pillars.

Aeronautics main site is located in Linköping, Sweden. There is an installed customer base globally and we are constantly looking for new business opportunities in new markets. With a sales oriented organization and a growing interest in our products the tempo is always high. To serve as good citizens and take a corporate social responsibility is very important for us.



Your role

As Head of Regional Relations you have an important role to represent Saab in the region of Östergötland. You will work in close co-operation with management and the Visitor Department and your primary responsibilities will be:

* Public affairs on the local and regional level

* Corporate Social Responsibility

* Marketing Support



You will:

Contribute in building long-lasting and faithful relations with private actors as well as public actors in our neighbourhood.

Represent Saab in contributing to the development of the region, often by co-operation in projects with several external partners.

Work in close co-operation with Corporate Public Affairs and participate at visits from politicians and other decision makers.

Increase the visibility of Saab in the public debate



Your skills and experience

We are looking for a target-driven person with excellent communication skills. You are a team-player with a service-minded and solution-oriented approach and you have a good analytical ability and a high flexibility to handle and respond to upcoming situations.

You are genuinely business and people oriented, and have experience of working with communication and Public Affairs. You have good knowledge of strategic and operational work and marketing communication. A good understanding of working in a political driven organization and good knowledge of Swedish Government structure and processes is desirable.

You have an academic education or equivalent and are fluent in English, both written and verbally.



This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
