Your role
BU Gripen is a business unit with overall responsibility for JAS 39 Gripen C/D/E/F. Air Vehicle Engineering is a department within BU Gripen, with ~150 employees, responsible for the systems engineering of the entire Gripen C/D/E/F aircraft on an overall design level. The department consists of overall systems and other engineering disciplines.
As Head of Requirements Management, you will lead an area of approx. 10 requirement managers who provide overall support and guidance for handling stakeholder, e.g., customer and regulatory requirements, including verification reporting. Together with product management, the group compile and issues stakeholder requirements specifications and administers change processes. The requirements managers compile and report verification status for stakeholder requirements and administer verification reports, including communication with customers and authorities. The area is also responsible for developing methodology for stakeholder requirements management and presentation of requirements fulfillment.
In this role, you will be responsible for coaching your employees and give them the best conditions possible to perform their work in an efficient manner. You are also the accountable manager for the deliverables from your unit and to secure on time deliveries with high quality.

We believe you hold a Master or Batchelor degree in, e.g., engineering, computer science, information science or business management, or equivalent experience from several years of working in large projects with systems engineering related responsibilities. Skills in the English and Swedish language, oral and written is needed. Experience from leadership roles, preferable as line manager, is beneficial.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
