Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.  

In this transformation, our retail network that consists of 1 500 workshops and 20 000 sales and service employees, will continue to be the front line, which sell to and serve our customers every day.  

For the retail network, data will be of high importance to serve our customers high expectations at Scania, to increase our workshop staff happiness, increase sales, and increase efficiency. Who we are 

Retail Analytics is part of the Retail Digitalisation which support the retail organisation with digital tools built on modern technology to increase customer and employee satisfaction, as well as increase sales and boost efficiency. The core processes that our solutions support are workshop planning & operations, contracted services, and maintenance to support our customers Repair and Maintenance journey. 

The role of Retail Analytics is to leverage data from the Retail Network with digital solutions, connectivity data and other relevant sources. We work advanced data analytics in all different maturity steps from descriptive to prescriptive.  As a base we use our Retail Data Platform built on primarily Snowflake. The analytics datasets are presented to our end-user through our digital solutions in the workshop planning & operations, through Power BI, or other supporting applications. 

Who you are 

We have a great team consisting of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Power BI specialists and product owners to develop our data capabilities for the retail network. We are now looking for a servant leader who can support and help grow this highly competent team. 

We believe that you have great passion and knowledge about Data Analytics, you believe in empowering the team as a servant leader, strive toward astonishing results, believe a day without learning is boring and like to collaborate in a multinational company with high empathy for end-users and customers. If you have experience from working with automotive retail business that is a merit, but your attitude and knowledge will be what is valued the most.
