Your mission
The Global Pricing Team within Commercial Operations is new in its current setup. It’s set up to cater for taking price decisions, implement and evaluate the effect in a fast and efficient way with great quality. The scope covers the online and the wholesale business at a global level. The company is in the middle of a major transformation of the commercial system where online and direct are the keywords and the role of pricing in this journey can’t be over-stated.
You will build a team ready to challenge the “truth” within pricing in the automotive industry. It’s done through thorough understanding of current dynamics through analysis of existing and developing data sets. The learnings are used to calibrate existing tools for revenue optimization and at the same time invent a bunch of new until the toolbox shines. Developing the tactical playbook will then be a pure joy ride.
In addition, you and the team will become the speaking partner of choice for teams in product creation on topics related to revenue optimization within the projects developing new products as well as updates to existing cars and “soft offers”.
Who are you
You are curious by nature and passionate about improving the business you work with. You have the confidence and energy to relentlessly push yourself and others towards new and improved solutions. Your confidence was probably earned from numerous situations in the past where your knowledge and skillet proved to make a difference.
You’re senior in your way of reasoning and dealing with stakeholders at all levels but you don’t see yourself too senior to open an excel-sheet to get things done. You’re taking the thought process in the team to the next level at the same time as you’re willing to jump into a discussion on some details when necessary.
We are looking for people who enjoy collaboration and take accountability, as the ability to work within teams is key for success. You are bold, curios and have integrity, you also work with a strong business acumen. You are a person with high ambitions that find an entrepreneurial company mindset inspiring. Since we’re in a major transformation it’s important that you have an interest in building something new rather than maintaining existing processes. To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
• 5+ years of relevant experience from pricing with a strong track record
• Experience with value based pricing and analysis of customer lifetime value
• Experience from working with complex revenue/cost business models with large degree of uncertainty
• Track record and interest in building something new, not just maintaining existing processes
• Experience from pricing subscription-based services is preferred but not a requirement.
• Ability and interest in dealing with large sets of data. Extensive Excel skills is necessary whereas previous database experience is a plus but not a requirement.
• University degree
• Fluent in English, additional languages is a bonus

HQ Gothenburg or Stockholm.
