Head of Sales, Fleet and Driver Services

Connectivity is an exciting and dynamic journey where Scania is a well-known company in the automotive industry. The aim of the department Connected Services and Solutions is to develop, implement and sell services and packaged solutions as well as to leverage the benefits of connectivity within all parts of Scania. The department is on an enthusiastic journey in a still unexplored area for many companies.
 
The department Fleet and Driver Services, within Connected Services and Solutions, is responsible to connect Scania’s products and we are commercially responsible for our services, currently; Scania Fleet Management Services, Scania Tachograph Services, Scania Driver Training & Driver Coaching and Ecolution by Scania. The Sales Team is globally responsible for the sales of these services and one of four groups within Fleet and Driver Services.
 
Assignment
Your top priority as Head of Sales will be to make sure all Scania products are connected around the world. In addition to this, you are responsible to reach the global sales objectives for our services, both when it comes to volume and profitability. The quality in the services delivery is in focus as it is key for creating a premium customer experience. You will build up good relationships with our Distributors, supporting them in becoming even more experienced and focused on sales of our services.
 
You are expected to lead and motivate your team, today consisting of 4 Area Managers, one Technical Sales Manager and one Business Analyst, in order to reach global objectives. A close cooperation with the Business Units as well as cross-functional team work in the head office will be vital to reach your targets.

You need to make sure your team is on top of the competitive situation, customer demands, market needs and general industry and technology development.

The position includes regular contact with Distributors and you are expected to travel.

Your profile
You are committed, take initiatives and make things happen. You have experience of working with sales and you have a strong commercial focus. Experience from a distributor-dealer set up is a plus but not required.

You are not afraid to challenge old ways in order to meet the demands of the future. You enjoy motivating and developing people and you are able to build and maintain good relations. Furthermore, you are well-organized with skills to prioritize effectively and you have an ability to see the complete picture.

Fluency in English is a prerequisite. Other languages is a bonus. Leadership experience is a plus. You have a university degree in Engineering or Business and minimum 5 years professional experience.
