Do you thrive on building new business and managing a sales team? We are looking for an exceptional Head of Sales Plastic to take full responsibility to build and develop engineering plastic sales within our Scandinavian Business Unit. This is a great opportunity to start up a new business segment within Algol Chemicals, welcome with your application!

YOU WILL

In the plastic industry, we specialize in additives and quality improvers. Our suppliers are well-known market leaders, and our wide range is constantly evolving according to the needs of our customers. We are now ready to take the next step and develop our business to also include sales of engineering plastic. In this key role you will be responsible for driving new business development to increase our recognition the plastic segment in Scandinavia. You will work both operationally and strategically and drive the team's overall development in the short and long term within the framework of the strategy developed. Your task is to lead and create growth opportunities together with your team. You inspire and motivate your employees and it is important for you to create an environment for success and progress. Further, you will:

- Establish new suppliers and nurture these relationships
- Develop and execute sales and market strategy
- Develop and negotiate new accounts
- Create long-term customer contacts

Algol Chemicals is a matrix organization, and you report to our BU Director in Scandinavia as well as collaborate with other leaders across the global organization.

YOUR PROFILE

Ideally you will have a Degree within chemistry, technical sciences, business administration or equivalent. Previous experience of working in B2B sales in the plastic industry and proven success within a leadership role is a must. Experience from distribution industry within engineering plastic is an advantage. Distinctive strategic thinking, excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills are essential. You are driven by development and driving your team towards common goals. You contribute with energy and drive and have a strong desire to develop the business as well as your employees.
