Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units.
Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.

Sales and Order Tools is responsible to steer the development and implementation of the commercial sales and order applications. The applications supports the prospecting, sales and order processes
for new and used vehicles as well as for the related services.
 
Scania has ambitious growth targets the years ahead. A wide range of activities will be needed to reach those targets, including improved sales systems support for the commercial organization. Within this area, we are looking for Manager Sales Portal to further strengthen our team.
 
Job Description
You will be responsible to lead and coach the Sales Portal team including continuous improvements of methods and processes. Currently the team consist of 10 persons within Commercial Operations working with implementations, business support and development demands. You work in close cooperation with the technical team at Scania IT that consist of 40+ persons. The colleagues are located in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
 
You have a wide scope of contacts with key personnel throughout Scania’s commercial network and the head office in Södertälje.
 
You will be a member of the Sales and Order Tools management team and contribute to the development of the department.
 
Your Profile
You are a driving and engaging person who have a great interest and the ability to work through your team members to fulfil the demands from our customers. You take initiative, see possibilities and are patient in reaching your own and your teams goals. You have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize. You are a strong individual who can anchor decisions and collaboration forms between departments.
 
We believe that you have a university degree or corresponding knowledge. Minimum five years’ experience of line management is required, preferably within Automotive and/or IT. You are willing to travel, find international contacts stimulating and speak and write English fluently.
