Who we are
Global Technical Support is responsible for the technical support process within Scania. We provide technical knowledge and expertise to keep customers business running. With personnel placed in eight hubs around the world, we cover all time zones to assist Scania's customers wherever they operate.
We work closely with Scania business units, our retail network, research and development in a global setup always with aim to offer premium support to our customers. Joining us you will be part of truly global and diverse team that values collaboration, problem solving and innovation.
Our team in Europe has grown, and we are now splitting into two teams to strengthen technical support and drive the transformation of the support process.
We are looking for a dedicated leader to head one of the two teams in Europe. You will play an active role in the management team of Global Technical Support, driving the development towards our vision of being a clear part of Scania's premium offering, where customers choose us because we offer support that enables the full potential of Scania solutions.

Your role
You will have the privilege of leading a team of highly engaged and competent support engineers and agents who are globally recognized and appreciated. Your team will work closely with research and development, as well as other departments within Scania, to develop support processes together with our markets and ensure that customers receive premium service when they need support for their products and services.
In this role, you will occasionally assist with daily customer escalations, but you will also focus on strategy and developing ways of working to deliver premium customer support. Given the high workload and pressure on the technical support team, your ability to motivate team members and create a fun, empathetic, and positive working environment is highly valued.
You will report to the Director of Global Technical Support and be a part of the management team.

Your profile
We are looking for a curious leader with a strong customer focus mind-set and relevant academic degree (e.g. engineering/business). You are passionate about people and providing premium support services, understanding the value they bring to our customers and Scania. In this role you will work in a dynamic environment, and a key success factor will be your ability to motivate others, establish and improve collaborations with different stakeholders within Scania centrally as well as our retail network globally.
A large degree of flexibility both in terms of skillset and being prepared to manage fast changing situations is highly valued. You enjoy working in a challenging environment where you are able to adapt to new situations and solve problems with the best of Scania´s customers in mind.
While experience in the automotive retail business, technical support, or a similar field is a plus, your attitude and knowledge are what we value most.
The position will require some travelling.
