Develop, guide and coordinate security and fire protection
As Head of Security, you will be the one that develops and gives guidance for the correct security and fire safety standards and guidelines within NKT globally. You will be responsible for implementing those standards in Sweden and ensuring implementation through security coordinators on other sites.
You will oversee the daily functioning of all security operations and be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations, rules, policies, and procedures for effective and efficient security operations and fire protection. Maintaining and managing relationships with key vendors and ensure service level agreements are met is another key task in this role.
Besides the above your primary tasks will be:
Be a member of the local crisis team.
Develop, maintain, and improve security protocols (SOPs) for each site, including access control standards and incident response.
Partner with CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) to identify, source and implement technology necessary to meet our physical security standards. Align and coordinate all security aspects physical as digital.
Implement threat management programs to support the safety and well-being of employees and physical assets.
Create and manage the Security operations budget.
Partner with internal teams (CISO, HR, BCP (continuities plans etc.), Legal, Internal Communications) and other key stakeholders on incident response.
Integrate processes that drive continuous improvement for the organization as they relate to physical security.
Ensure incidents involving physical security are fully investigated; provide incident reports and action recommendations to leadership. Monitor and report on physical security risk to our leadership team.
Communicate and train employees, response teams, and the security workforce on key components of physical security.
You will be a part of Group Workplace Management at NKT which is responsible for all workplace related activities which include Facility Management, Real Estate and Site & Building security.
Your home base will be in Karlskrona and your work scope primarily within Sweden, but also in other countries. Goal oriented and proactive security specialist
To be successful in this role you possess a strong reputation for honesty, integrity and confidentiality. You demonstrates professionalism and composure especially in situations with significant pressure.
You have strong communicational and organizational skills and effectively interact with a wide range of members of the organisation - from HSE to leadership.
Your mindset is characterized by being open, supportive, positive and proactive and you have a strong ability to attract, mentor, manage, inspire, and grow teams across multiple sites. In addition to the above you have a minimum of 10 years’ experience within security and/or law enforcement/intelligence.
Additionally, your CV comprises:
You preferably have a master´s degree though professional experience and character can beat a formal degree
Strong security technology expertise (e.g. CCTV, Access Control, GSOC technology, theft prevention technology)
Experience from working with Swedish Protective Security Act ASIS CPP (Certified Protection Professional), Executive Protection, and/or PSP (Physical Security Professional) certifications preferred
Fluent in Swedish and English – both spoken and written
