About this opportunity
SL Build Head is responsible for the Built Services Portfolio and to provide capable resources to the projects and contracts within the CU Northern and Central Europe. The SL Unit is responsible to provide the processes, tools, and WoW to the projects within the CU, besides supporting in the introduction of new tools and automation to improve performance, quality, and cost of the different services in the NRO portfolio.
The Head of SL Build reports to the NMSD Head of CU Northern and Central Europe.


What you will do
The Head of Build is responsible for the following areas:
Mobilization and establishment of delivery resource (Regular Employees, ARP’s and ASP’s)
Competence and Skills development of teams
Delivery of Build activities (Active and Passive) using our Best-in-class processes and tools
Governance of delivery with our ASP’s and our Global resources
Drive Automation and Serviceability according to the CU, MELA and BNEW agenda



Mobilization and Establishment
Mobilization of project resource against the agreed case
Drive forecasting, dimensioning and Optimisation of the delivery capacity based on business needs as well as operational efficiency, i.e., accountable for cost of delivery and the delivery strategy.
Establishment of Tools and processes to ensure a consistent and standard delivery approach as per guidelines



Competence and Skills Development
Continuous performance management, mentoring and coaching for the team members.
Implementation of strategies needed to secure yearly business objectives
Implement competence strategy to secure capability across all areas of the portfolio along with closing critical competence gaps.



Delivery of Build activities (Active and Passive)
Fulfilment of agreed operational and business breakthroughs to ensure financial targets are achieved.
Operational management of all Implementation and Delivery Managers as well as RAN Delivery resources such as Integrators and Solutions Architects.
Drive close cooperation, interworking and knowledge sharing across CU in SL Build within MELA.
Drive continuous quality and operational excellence.
Drive OHS and EHS aiming for zero fatality.



Governance of delivery with our ASP’s and our GSC resources
Complete governance model with our ASP partners as per Ericsson Blueprints.
Drive Operational and financial governance model with internal stakeholders.
Strong cooperation, interworking and knowledge sharing across CU in SL Build within MELA.
Secure close co-operation between GSC Delivery Flows and Customer Unit Operations
Fulfillment of cost savings initiatives against business directives



You will bring
University degree in Business or Engineering / ICT.
Experience in forecasting and dimensioning of delivery capacity based on business needs
Ability to lead a service delivery organization cross multiple geographical sites towards multiple customers
Senior capability in managing and inspiring change in a large, complex organization
Ability to attract, develop and retain competence
Ability to lead multi-cultural and cross-functional teams, empowering and crafting alignments
Ability to manage relationships at the highest level within Ericsson as well as the customer organization.
Strong driver of one Ericsson
Local Market Knowledge
Fluency in English Language
Excellent interpersonal, social and communication skills
