Ascom is looking for a Head of Services & Operations for the Region Nordic to oversee daily activities across functions such as finance, IT, and regulatory compliance.
Head of Operations responsibilities includes effectively achieving short and long-term financial and operating objectives such as increased profitability and implementing technology solutions. You should be a responsible leader with an analytical and strategic mind and broad business knowledge. If you’re also committed to productivity and compliance, we’d like to meet you.

Your days will be filled with...
- Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of managers to ensure that Region Nordics achieves its business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Formulate business strategy with others in the Nordic Leadership team.
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
- Lead the Transformation to Shared Nordic Operations across Region Nordics.
- Accountable for delivering forecasts and revenue within Region Nordics.
- Establish an overall vision and strategy and approve policies and procedures for Region Nordics that contribute to the comprehensive corporate plan.
- Set and monitor the performance of the Region Nordics against standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, legal compliance, and human resource management.
- Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts.
Required competencies
- BSc/BA in Business, Computer Science, or related fields or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of financial literacy concerning project costs, margins, and financial optimization of projects and services
- Familiarity with all business functions, including HR, finance, supply chain, and IT.
- Proven experience as Head of Operations, Operations Director, or similar leadership role.
- Proven experience in complex ICT project delivery - The health sector is advantageous.
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills in English
- Fluent in at least one of the languages Swedish / Danish / Norwegian
- B driving license
