Can you lead strategically, challenge and create sticky differentiators to achieve profitability and growth? Then join our new Solution Line Packet Core (SL PC) in Solution Area Core Networks.
SL PC is in the center of Business Area Cloud Software and Services financial turn-around and future growth. We drive our business in the three offering areas Packet Core, Policy and Signalling. Within the next 12 month, we will have accomplished a break-even result, taken stand on strategic choices for the next decade, empowered our teams to work more strategically, and grounded for improved price levels by being clear on Ericsson Packet Core´s unique value to key customer stakeholders.
This role has P&L responsibility and report to me as the head of Solution Line. You will lead a team of Strategic Product Managers with focus on User Plane for Evolved Packet Core and 5G Core. It also includes accountability for Offering Area Packet Core, where success depends on tight Virtual Team collaboration throughout Core Networks, such as with Sales Engagement, Services, Strategy & Portfolio, and R&D. The team also frequently collaborate with SA Network Management for resource orchestration, SA BOSS for service orchestration and slicing, Dedicated Networks for Private Networks, and BNEW for end-to-end capabilities.

What you will do
Lead a highly proficient team of Strategic Product Managers, grow and retain talents.
Greatly improve P&L of Offering Areas Packet Core and Packet Core User Plane, both software and services, to profitability and growth (accountable).
Achieve SL PC leadership’s team’s joint result (responsible).
Define and lead strategy, value definition and business development for your portfolio (accountable).
Define and govern tactics for strategy execution and reaching OKRs (accountable).
Own Roadmaps and Life Cycle Plans for your portfolio (accountable).
Lead Offering Area Packet Core Virtual Team’s strategy execution as leader of the Virtual Team (accountable).
Active Market Area and customer interactions for insights, to secure profitable business, making our value understood, and drive growth opportunities.
Empower your team and drive change for effective product management.
You will bring
University degree in Engineering or ICT.
Proven track record of successfully achieving results in a complex cross functional organization. Market area sales related experience is meriting.
Senior leadership characterized by high integrity, credibility, and trust.
Excellent knowledge and experience of industry shaping trends, sales environment, competition, and the customer needs in the Packet Core market.
Domain expertise in your portfolio of Core Network, and associated technologies such as IP and Cloud.
Highly developed skills in Strategic thinking, articulation, and leadership
Excellent techno-commercial understanding to take high-impact portfolio decisions.
Excellent financials and business case skills to drive P&L with market areas and R&D interaction.
Proven ability to articulate the value proposition and influence customers to secure profitable business and drive business development.
Confident and experienced from engaging with customer Vice Presidents and Directors.
