Your mission
In this position, you lead the Software Asset Management team, making sure we have the right competences and capabilities in place. You’re responsible for developing our strategic roadmap for software asset management and you identify areas of opportunity to strengthen our capabilities in this area.
This also include:
Developing and implementing SAM strategy fit for purpose.
Performing continuous development of the SAM area.
Driving opportunities for cost savings by optimizing software licenses.
Monitoring and reporting on software usage to identify areas for improvement.
Establishing cross Sandvik SAM collaboration as needed – to develop the right approach and drive an effective SAM practice.
You report to Head of Group IT Sourcing and the location for this position is at Gasverket in Stockholm.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or another related field – combined with extensive experience in software asset management in a leading and international setting. You have a profound understanding of various software licensing models and you hold up-to-date certifications in SAM, ITIL Foundations and FinOps basics. In addition to this, experience with tools for managing software asset, such as SNOW, is advantageous. Operating both locally and worldwide calls for fluency in verbal and written English and Swedish.
