About this opportunity
We’re looking for a strong leader accountable for building and developing a world-class Core Network Engineering (CNE), Solution & CI unit, focusing on the Integration & Verification framework. Would you like to be part of lifting our 5G Core offering to a new level and, in the process, introduce a new way of working?

As a senior leader and a member of the Solution & CI leadership team, the successful candidate will need to be a result-oriented problem solver in a high, fast-paced, geographically diverse matrix organization working with the latest telecom technologies while at the same time demonstrating a strong ability to manage change, inspire, innovate, drive efficiencies, automation, and digitalization and collaboration within, and with other units.

This role will be a direct report to the Head of Solution & CI unit.

What you will do
* Lead and be responsible for the Solution &CI deliverables as part of the 5GC program on NFVI and CNIS infrastructures
* Lead and be responsible for the 5G Core System reference configuration. Define structure in PRIM for the 5G Core System. Propose and develop documents for 5G Core System
* Lead and be responsible for the Pre-PRG quality feedback to the 5G Core System products for the functional and non-functional areas. Covering perspectives such as e2e regression test as well as verification of new features and functions
* Lead and be responsible for the development, validation, and maintainability of prioritized 5G Core System related methods of procedures, for example, e.g., E2E recovery playbook, Solution dimensioning guideline, Full stack upgrade MoP, Security hardening guideline, 5G Core system roaming MoP
* Lead and be responsible for the verification results and developed e2e procedures should be included in the 5G Core System reference documentation and released as VKA (Validated Knowledge Available)
* Lead and be responsible for the Prepare a release plan and release of the 5G Core System as VKA. A communication plan for the related documentation in collaboration with Product Management
* Drive Improvements and promote a changed way of working with a focus on automation and simplification
* Be working with multiple stakeholders across product ownership, product development, technology evolution, and customer teams to deliver Pre-verified and certified solutions to the market


You will bring
* Several years in a leadership role within R&D, Product Management and/or Technology Positions
* Strong profile in understanding the technology, industry, market, and customers and how they are interconnected
* Strong experience in Solution Verification flow, process, and procedures, as well as a clear understanding of the change to these processes given the Cloud Native transformation
* Solid comprehension of technology and product development flow and how to bring early technology and standards into product realization from a Solution verification perspective
* Solid understanding of the Automation need/possibilities in different parts of the verification flow
* Senior profile with the ability to collaborate with customer C-level and BA/MA/GF stakeholders
* Have a comprehensive view and capability to see the big picture – long-term and strategic-minded
* Shown BCSS domain competence (Products & Services)
* High-level understanding of business fundamentals, market logic, and global business trends
