Head of Sourcing and Supply

We are looking for a new Head of Sourcing and Supply since our current Head is planning for retirement. As the Head of Sourcing and Supply within Special Mission and Regional Aircraft you will work in a truly international environment where your own ability to make a difference both for the team you are heading as well as for the business as a whole will be a critical success factor. You will be part of a very exciting and long term journey to support our customers to be successful in their own operations.



Your role

The head of Sourcing and Supply is an important part of Special Mission and Regional Aircraft management team and a crucial role in the continued success of the business. The sourcing organization also support the rest of the business unit Aviation Services. The position is based in Linköping, Sweden but international travel is required.

The main tasks:

Leading a sourcing organization with both strategic and operative procurement staff
*

Overall responsibility for sourcing and supply within Special Mission and Regional Aircraft and the rest of BU Aviation Services as well.
*

Member of the Special Mission and Regional Aircraft management team
*

Act as a senior expert in sourcing and commercial issues
*

Competence development and resource planning

Experience from working with legacy products

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be an important part of the Management Team for the department Special Mission & Regional Aircraft which is a part of the business unit Aviation Services within the business area Aeronautics.

The department consists of about 260 employees mainly placed in Tannefors, Linköping. But we also have people in USA and other countries where customers operates our aircrafts. We are an integrated part of the programs for Special Mission Aircrafts and we have the direct contract responsibility for our civil aircraft operators and owners.
