The Head of Strategy & Planning, part of the Absolut Brand team, is responsible for leading:
1. the development and implementation of the Absolut brand fundamentals
2. high profile strategic projects
3. Pernod Ricard Group and TAC brand planning cycle in collaboration with marketing specialist functions, drive markets and organizational stakeholders
The Head of Strategy and Planning will be driving consumer centricity for Absolut to the next level, with a laser focus on making the brand fit for recruiting the next generation of consumers, Gen Z as well as setting the foundations for increased creative height across all marketing activities.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Develop, implement and be the guardian of the global Absolut Brand Strategy. This includes brand positioning, consumer, portfolio and pricing, Master Brand Identity, Brand book updates, brand equity tracking and KPI management.
Drive Absolut consumer closeness agenda and projects in collaboration with CI
Lead Absolut Brand Planning and 3-year planning workstream incl. annual Brand budget plans and executive reviews and updates on the total brand.
Lead key cross department projects and represent Brand strategy team in global Absolut projects (analysis, strategy, project scoping)
Lead the Absolut Brand Workshop as well as brand forums
Lead comms brief in close collaboration with counterparts from brand creative team
Identify new business opportunities based on category trends, insights and market gaps
Guardian of overall information released and available on IBP & Internal PR
Act as a role model and internal/external ambassador to build enthusiasm for the Absolut brand and consumer centricity.
The position includes people management responsibility.
Build internal and external executive presentations
Job Requirements
Academic (Qualifications) & Professional experience required
University Degree, most likely Business or Communication.
Solid strategic and/or operational marketing experience
Minimum 8-10 years Brand Management or transferable experience within spirits or FMCG.
Market experience desirable.
International experience highly desirable.
Ability to travel.
English spoken and written with great proficiency.
