Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Unique opportunity to take part in leading Scania’s journey towards electrified and autonomous vehicles as Head of Supplier Quality for Electronics, Electrification and Software.
It is a fact that electrified vehicles are the way forward for Scania. In addition, it is also clear what opportunities driverless autonomous vehicles can offer. It is obvious that these areas are very important for Scania’s future. The section for Supplier Quality within Scania purchasing now has a rare vacancy as manager for the group SQCE that focuses on these two important areas as the SQ department is looking for a new Head of Supplier Quality for Electronics, Electrification and Software.
In this position, you are offered an interesting and flexible job that progresses at a high pace. You have the chance to impact and optimize the strategies for purchasing and quality assurance of the parts and systems that makes electrified and autonomous vehicles possible. You will take part in shaping the processes that are needed to reach and keep the pace needed to enable introduction in time without renouncing the top-of-the-line quality that sets Scania apart on the market. One challenge in this position will be to continue building a strong team.
You need to be able to see the big picture and understand the context while leaving the details to the team. You always aim towards what is best for Scania and assist the team in navigating the processes and support when deviations are necessary and at times draw the map as you go along.
Significant experience within Quality assurance together with electronic product development will make you well suited to handle the challenges ahead. You will be leading a team of senior experts with many years experience and deep knowledge in all relevant areas. Their knowledge lets you focus more on the strategic work and most importantly to provide the team with the means that they need to perform their job with maintained excellent results.
It is beneficial but not mandatory if you have previous management experience or have had leading roles. You will be part of a management team in which you find a lot of cordiality, vast experience, and many open-minded colleagues providing the opportunity to grow and develop as a leader.
