Head of Sustainability – Transformation and Projects

The Head of Sustainability in Transformation and Projects will drive and manage overall the Sustainability program office within the Industrial Applications Division at Siemens Energy.

Your profile

* Located in CET / GMT time zone an advantage
* 5+ years’ experience with project / program management activities
* 3+ years’ experience in ESG relevant areas (e.g., Inclusion and Diversity, Climate Neutral, Societal Engagement) is preferred
* Preferably familiar with EU regulations on Environmental topics
* Strong positive interpersonal communication across all levels of organization, change management & conflict resolution skills
* Strong PowerPoint skills at an executive level
* Experience with dashboard utilized at an executive level
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or engineering or equivalent
* Preferably, solid professional experience in Siemens Energy related to Strategy, Business Development, Business Improvement or Finance
* You have a strong interest in bringing new ideas to the development of Innovation whilst working in an international environment
* Pro-active and hands-on personality
* Organized and Motivated team player

Your responsibilities

Scope of work relevant for the Head of Sustainability in Transformation and Projects includes, but is not limited to:
* Develop strategic roadmap capturing Division priorities and key milestones from current to targeted state
* Establish systematic framework across all Sustainability topics (e.g., Climate Neutral Program, EU Taxonomy, ESG (environmental, social and governance) risk assessment, etc.) with clear process steps and RACI between Division Functions, BU, Regional Hubs, and Corporate
* Develop and implement a method for idea generation and tracking idea implementation status on key Sustainability topics (e.g., carbon emission reductions) that enables achievement of targets
* Understand implications of regulations or other mandatory obligations on ESG relevant topics
* Establish relevant training material on Sustainability topics as applicable in partnership with Division Functions, BUs, Region Hubs and Corporate
* Establish / Optimize data architecture and framework to enable / improve reporting on applicable Sustainability topics
* Develop Dashboards that provide required transparency on all applicable Sustainability topics and that simplifies current manual process of data collection and reporting
* Facilitate governance process to ensure achievement of targets / key deliverables
* Monitors and assesses business-relevant sustainability trends and evaluates business opportunities
* Prepare board presentations, Division Program report out and other relevant Stakeholder presentations.
* Coordination between stakeholders to ensure engagement, collaboration, acceptance where applicable, adoption of processes and tools, etc. (e.g. ESG relevant topics)
* Encourages a sustainability mindset with a focus on business opportunities e.g., by facilitating or leading initiatives with Division Functions and BUs
* Leverages sustainability topics for positioning, communication, and employee engagement
