Head of SW Integration of Propulsion Batteries and Bus Systems at Scania R&D
The ongoing transformation from traditional buses to new electrified buses puts new demands and challenges to the whole bus development department. A new systems and software organization has been created within the Bus department with responsibility to support this transformation by providing bus unique systems and functions to our end customer.
We are now looking for group manager to head a newly created group to accelerate the eMobility commitment for buses and be responsible for the SW integration of propulsion batteries for Scania’s fully electrified buses.
Your role
In your role as Head of SW Integration of Propulsion Batteries and Bus Systems your first mission will be to define and build your organization from a blank paper. You will have the unique opportunity to build the dream team perfectly suited for your mission.
You will have a key role in the bus transformation finding creative ways to meet the rapidly changing demands for electrified buses – to help define what eMobility components an electrified bus will consist of.
You will be part of the management team to form this new section, where we will define and realise our mission and strategies with close cooperation with cross-functions at Scania, our bus business partners and our customers.
Your profile
You have proven to have strong leadership skills from at least one leading position within software development/integration from the automotive or other relevant industry.
You need to be strong in building teams, be communicative and be energized by challenges. We are looking for a team player with a can-do mentality combined with an analytical mindset and structured way of working.
What will we offer
You will play a key role in the electrification transformation for buses within Scania with close contacts both with external suppliers, internal Scania R&D departments/groups and end customers, giving you a possibility to build a good product knowledge and a strong contact network.
