Head of System Development to Acne Studios

We currently have an exciting opening as Head of System Development in our IT team. In this role, your primary focus will be to lead the development team and work with defining, following and continuously improving system development life cycles.

You will be identifying the organizations IT needs and the resources that it requires to make the business thrive. You will be an important part in projects and day-to-day work by managing and coaching all internal and external resources in the development team.

Your job will include:

- Provide tools and governance for continuous planning, improvements and deliveries with IT related work within Acne Studios
- Source, onboard, coach and evaluate all resources needed according workload and plan
- Manage and coach all resources in the development team
- Ensure that the team has knowledge regarding all systems and integrations developed by Acne Studios IT
- Spread agile thinking within Acne Studios in term of processes and roles


We are looking for someone with good understanding of work-related leadership, including theoretical and hands on experience with individual and group development.

We also believe that you are a proactive person with great understanding for the entire IT lifecycle and its processes. As a person you need to be a be a team leader with a down to earth approach and a positive attitude.

To succeed in this role we believe that you have:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree within related field, i.e. Computer Science
- About five years experience with system or integration development in a similar role
- About three years experience with managing a system development team, including sourcing, introducing, coaching and evaluating
- Experience with modern SDLC processes and techniques, including agile development
- Fluent in English, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills


Nice to have:

- Knowledge in Microsoft Azure Integrations, Azure Devops, Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 FO, BI or RPA tools
- Knowledge in IT solution design, system development, integration testing or automated testing
- Knowledge in IT project management
