The next generations of Surveillance sensor systems will continuously evolve to meet our customer's increasing demands in a fast changing world. Saab Digital Sensor Core will enable fast insertion of new technology using common modularized building blocks and continuous delivery at high speed for future sensor systems at Surveillance.

Your role

You will lead the unit Sensor Core HFF (High Frequency Functions) together with a team of system engineers. As a member of Sensor Core Platforms management team you will participate in building the organization leading the development of Surveillance' Sensor Core. Your main tasks are:

Lead product development of Sensor Core HFF together with your team and secure that the product meets requirements, standards and regulations
*

Communicate with stakeholders in order to understand our customers' needs and combine different needs into common platform products serving different applications and variants
*

Establish way of working with the different development organizations within Surveillance
*

Participate in developing technical aspects of the strategy, roadmap and release plans for our Product Unit
*

First line manager for your team





Your profile

We are looking for a passionate technical leader who want to be part of our journey building the Saab Digital Sensor Core and contribute to a collaborative work environment with transparency, respect and trust for each other. To be successful in the position, you need to be a team player and have the ability to motivate and engage others.

We assume you have:

Staff or technical leading experience from a product development organization preferably in the field of high frequency or antenna development
*

Degree in a technical discipline
*

Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

The unit Sensor Core Platforms is part of the Product Unit Fighter & Sensor Core. Our task is to develop efficient and relevant platform products for Surveillance' future sensors driven by customer needs and product roadmaps. We lead the product development including System Design & IoV as well as maintain and sustain our platform products.
