What you will do
Volvo Group Talent Acquisition is a group function within People Services with the mission to provide world class Talent Acquisition services and solutions to the Volvo group and contribute to business success. We support the whole group with expertise, processes, and tools in our area. In India, Poland and Sweden we have established a line-organization supporting all regions and time-zones.
As part of the disruptive change in our industry related to electrification and digitalization the demand for our services and solutions have significantly increased during the last year. Currently our Talent Acquisition partners in Sweden are organized in 2+1 teams, where two teams are located in Arendal and one team is a temporary structure supporting our R&D function on-site at Group Trucks Technology.
We will now increase our capacity and strategic footprint with a regular dedicated and specialized team in the R&D area. For that purpose, we are now looking for a head of Talent Acquisition R&D Sweden. In this position you are a line manager with the responsibility to lead and develop your team of specialized Talent Acquisition Partners in the R&D are. You and your team will be localized close to our development Center in Lundby, Gothenburg. You will report to the Head of Group Talent Acquisition and be part of the global Talent Acquisition Leadership team.
Part of you core responsibilities are:
* Drive the talent acquisition process delivery for the Groups Trucks Technology operation in Sweden.
* Act as a coach and support for your team and drive the development of your team members.
* Drive efficiency and secure deliveries according to set targets.
* Implement decided methods, tools and ways of working in your area.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external talent sources such as agencies.
* Be part of developing long term strategies and short-term initiatives that aim to strengthen the Volvo Groups talent acquisition capabilities.
* Act as group coordination cross countries in talent acquisition for R&D
Who are you?
You have successfully been leading Talent Acquisition groups/teams/functions in the technology area, and you have a strong interest and understanding of cutting-edge R&D, preferably from the automotive sector.
You drive business development, efficiency and implement agreed tools, processes, and ways of working in Talent Acquisition. Furthermore, you manage stakeholder expectations, building and sustaining long term business relationships.
Required Competencies
We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track-record from management in talent acquisition, preferably from an international context.
You navigate with ease in a complex stakeholder structure and you feel comfortable in interacting with stakeholders at all levels in the company, from executive level to individual contributors.
You have experience from working with external vendors and have the ability to create a seamless service delivery model. Furthermore, you have excellent overall understanding of processes, business change and an ability and interest in identifying and driving continuous improvements
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and/or Business administration, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
