Your responsibilities
As Head of Tech Operations, you are a senior leader responsible for the continued operations and stability of the H&M technology landscape. You will direct the operations leaders for multiple technology and enterprise-wide infrastructure foundation shared service areas (incl. Cloud & Data Center, Network, Develop experience, API & Event Integration), overseeing the continued operations of the H&M landscape during its technology transformation.
You will be responsible for managing the Service Desk and Operational Control Tower and IT Operations Tooling, and drive performance & service level improvements throughout all Tech operations tools and processes. You will be supporting the ability to rapidly and reliable develop, deploy tech-based solutions and provide a robust and high-reliable set of tech services in a secure environment for H&M Group with direct accountability of major incident management, proactive and predictive operations (introducing AI Ops) and enacting major disaster recovery processes to maintain business operations.
Your responsibilities, will include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the overall operations and stability of the H&M Group tech landscape
Accountable for transitioning the operations setup of H&M's foundational technology service areas, including Cloud & DC, Network, API & Event Integration and Site Core Technology (incl. Edge devices), as they transition to more modern technologies
Accountable for managing and driving operational improvements within the Service Desk and Tech Operations Control Tower
Accountable for delivering all required Tech Operations tooling as a service to H&M Group's broader product teams and driving operational improvements in these tools
Accountable for SAP operations and the delivery of the S4/HANA transformation
Accountable for the right architecture, infrastructure and technology platforms as well as relevant competences to enables development of digital capabilities
Accountable for establishing and maintaining good practices for tech operations and software deployment to ensure delivery of high-quality software at pace
Accountable for leading strategic initiatives and finding new, innovative technological solutions that drive H&M Group business results and reach the strategic objectives
Accountable for actively engaging in recruiting, attracting and securing resources and expertise to develop and execute on the tech operations roadmap
Provide leadership that promotes best practice in architecture, infrastructure and technology operations – continually benchmarking against industry standards
Functional lead for the team of managers within tech operations
Lead, coach and develop members of the operations domain within Business Tech to secure people development, leadership and succession
Work across initiatives and functions within H&M Group, for a solid tech operations that fully supports the teams in their product development and -deployment

Qualifications
Proven education in technology engineering, computer science, or equivalent
15+years of progressive and diverse experience as a leader in technology, including in global IT operations
10+ years experience and excellent understanding of multi-and hybrid cloud
Deep understanding and experience of global network operations and zero-trust networks
Demonstrates strong leadership skills and uses sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions
Ability to combine technical leadership with being an effective people manager
Proven management of crisis teams for resolving technology major incidents (P1s) and maintaining stakeholder communications throughout and resulting root cause analysis and remediation actions
Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to manage internal stakeholders
Ability to communicate actionable analytical findings verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way to a non-technical and business audience
Proven ability to frame a business issue, design the right solution, and deliver results
Ability to understand the complexity of H&M Group business and the role of technology solutions as an integrated part of the business
Preferred: Experience in retail and eCommerce and managing large-scale customer facing online operations
