About this opportunity
We are now looking for a Head of Technology Evolution to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time and cost for future development. As Head of Technology Evolution you will teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations. You will foster a creative and learning culture.
What you will do
Main Responsibilities:
E2E Architecture Authority:
Secure standardized and competitive evolution of the BOS portfolio
Improve cross collaboration with respect to Cross SA initiatives
Secure continuous alignment across Technology Strategy and all SA units (Strategy, roadmap, current and new commitments)
E2e 5g/iot:
Keep BOS 5G/IOT business and functional architecture up to date with respect to the latest Industry standards and competition
Increase competitiveness of Ericsson value proposition in 5G/IOT landscape
Pre-integrations:
Secure organic and standardized cross product alignment
Drive BOS quality on E2E use-cases
Cloud Native, Technology Leadership, Demos:
Secure cloud native journeys for established and to be BOS portfolio
Utilize Technology Leadership initiatives to anticipate Technological hurdles minimizing deployment risks
Key Attributes:
Deep knowledge of Architectural standards
Solid experience in leading SW development in senior leadership roles including lean and agile practices
Ability to work with customer and competitors in standardization initiatives (catalyst projects).
Passion to develop solutions for new customer needs within eg 5G, IoT, NFV, SDN, Open Source, AI/ML, Automation, Pipelines
Solid business understanding and knowledge of operator realities and demands
Deep understanding of key industry, technology and market trends, eg 5G, IoT, NFV, SDN, Open Source, AI/ML, Automation, CI/CD etc
Ability to create a ONE team approach through a strong collaboration within SA BOS, Market Areas other key stakeholders within the company
Ability to build and retain competitive competence & diverse talent
Leadership:
Excels in execution: fix roadmap and deliver on commitments, makes prompt, clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered risks
Courageous Leadership – ability to provide a clear direction, set appropriate standards of behaviour, motivate, and empower
Agile leadership – ability to effectively change direction and focus of the organization based on business & customer requirements
Enable people - Experience in running large R&D organizations and managing large global diverse matrix organizations.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
You will bring
University degree in Engineering / ICT
Drive strategy execution across all units within SA BOS connected to Technology evolution
Extensive track record of successfully achieving results in a complex cross functional organization.
