Head of UX & Design

Role Summary:
We are looking for a Head of UX & Design to lead our efforts in delivering an exceptional user experience. This role is a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on design, requiring a passion for crafting user-friendly interfaces and a deep understanding of UX principles, particularly in the context of technical and data rich applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a compelling UX strategy that aligns with CodeScene’s vision, enhancing our product's usability and appeal.
Lead and grow the UX & Design team, fostering a culture of innovation and design excellence.
Participate actively in UX/UI design initiatives, setting high standards for quality and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to seamlessly integrate design and functionality.
Conduct focused user research and usability testing, especially catering to the unique needs of developers.
Advocate for user-centered design approaches throughout the company.

Qualifications:
Significant experience in leading UX and design teams, ideally in the tech or software industry.
Solid understanding of UX principles, particularly for data-intensive and technical applications.
A portfolio that demonstrates expertise in creating engaging, user-friendly interfaces.
Proficiency in contemporary UX/UI design tools and methodologies.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Strategic mindset with a detail-oriented approach to execution.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the field of code analysis, developer tools, or similar areas.
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and the challenges faced by developers.
