Excellent, as we are now looking for creative, energetic, out of the box leaders to join our newest product development unit. We are embracing a start-up mentality to deliver our product with better customer experience and increased organizational efficiency.
PDU Exilis is a new organization that will be leading the acceleration and creation of a cloud-native Radio Access Network (RAN) product offering with commercial engagements starting during 2020. The new PDU will contain in one organization total life-cycle capability from architecture definition to deployment in customer networks & capability to contribute to open source communities in ONAP.
To set ourselves up for greatness we will count on our leaders to truly embody BNEWs three C’s, Customer Focus, Collaboration and Can-do, to drive the realization of the Exilis portfolio.
In this role you will report to Head of PDU Exilis and be part of the Leadership team.

Job Responsibilities:
You will lead a team responsible for the Exilis Distributed Unit (DU) and Low Band product (LB), ensuring we as a company succeed in delivering a cloud native RAN offering to our customers, including:
ensuring that Ericsson offers a best-in-class, leading-edge cloud-native DU solution for lowband, designed to allow for accelerator solutions to be added
ensuring that this solution be adaptable to a variety of different deployment models, including carrier-edge platforms, enterprise-edge platforms, and hyperscalars
ensuring that DU solution meets product feature and performance requirements, quality requirements, according to committed schedules
collaborating with Product Line regarding product evolution and feature roadmap
embracing microservice cloud-native paradigms and continuous integration / continuous deployment models to realize the full potential of cloud native solutions

You will be expected to work closely with the other PDGs or Function Groups to ensure that the entire Exilis program works towards common goals. You will also be expected to work closely with other DNEW PDUs or FUs as it relates to providing a cohesive Ericsson offering. You will work closely towards our market areas and customer units as well as Ericsson’s lead customers as it relates to this domain.
