We are looking for a leader with a solid technology background to lead our vessel network into the next phase of digitalization.

As Head of Vessel Technology & Connectivity you will lead the Digital Product Development teams working closely with our Fleet Operations, Stena Group IT and Head of Fleet Operations and Onboard services to ensure that business strategy and technology strategy are tightly aligned and our vessel technology is up to date and cementing our position as one of world’s leading and advanced ferry operators.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for digital product development and driving continuous improvement process based on customer/user feedback and real data analysis for our fleet of vessels.
- Work closely with the Product Owners as well as with Transformation Leads and Head of roles to shift product roadmap priorities so that resources are available to address the most pressing needs.
- Drive the standardization of vessel technology (serves, IoT devices etc.) onboard our fleet of ship, build a blue print (digital twin) and set up a program to progressively achieve the standard we set.
- Further develop our already established digital teams delivering fuel savings as well as digitalization of logs books/documents onboard.
- Ensure synergies across digital products and services across Stena Line from a development, data, technology & security point of view.
- Establish and follow-up key digital product development performance indicators that are aligned with the overall business performance indicators of Stena Line.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Agile leadership experience and knowledge of common Agile frameworks/principles and methodologies (personal improvement)
- Ability to create, manage, and mitigate project, program, and product risks
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Prior maritime/transportation technology experience is an advantage
