Industrial Business Unit was established in 2021 to drive and develop specialized solutions for our industrial customers. We are a customer focused organization with local market presence, operating with full end-to-end responsibility covering the product and services planning, marketing, sales and services for Industrial Power Systems. We operate in more than 130 countries with a turnover of 8 billion SEK with ambition to grow and create success for our customers.


As Head of Volvo Penta China you will drive and co-ordinate the overall business performance for Market China, an organization with a strong commercial focus in a fast changing business environment. You will take the lead and work with a highly dedicated team to develop and implement the business strategy needed to accelerate our current and future position in China. You will also lead the team in building a transformational mindset and competence for the future. The role will report to SVP Industrial Business Unit.


Key responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for all market activities including sales, service market & supply chain
Drive the Volvo Penta Business with full profit and loss responsibility
Develop and execute long term and short-term sales business plans
Grow and establish excellent relations with customers and partners

Your profile and experience:


The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and experience from business roles in a global commercial environment. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to quickly adapt to changes in the marketplace to secure customer and business success. Your ability to empower, inspire and build relations will be key.


Critical competencies
Minimum of 10 years of management experience in our industry, preferably from multinationals
Strong business acumen
Proven change management capability
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required
